Building the capacity of rural enterprises to work effectively with smallholder farmers is a key part of MADE’s strategy to achieve pro-poor development. Following an assessment of how partnerships between agribusinesses and value chain actors were enacted, and the benefits that were realised, this brief summarises the impacts of business-to-business and business-to-farmer relationships on smallholder farmers in Northern Ghana.
