This report assesses progress of the MADE programme from March 2018 to February 2019 – the first year of a two-year extension period for the programme. The report outlines lessons learned from the main four-year implementation period and also looks at programme impact, the status of smallholder farmers, monitoring and evaluation, programme management and value for money. The report concludes that overall project achievements in Year 5 included exceeding the target for the number of new Farm Enterprise Advisors engaged and providing additional agricultural services such as threshing and rice cutting.
