Dynamic private sector extension for farmers in Northern Ghana

MADE’s Farm Enterprise Advisor (FEA) model provides practical supervision to help agricultural businesses work with smallholder farmers in delivering and using a wide range of products and services. Following an assessment of six of MADE’s partner agribusinesses and three of its support enterprises, this brief highlights different paths to successfully delivering the FEA model. In particular, the brief outlines how the various organisations have implemented risk management, revenue generation and financial management, FEA recruitment and incentivisation, and sustainability strategies.
