This business case summarises findings from an assessment commissioned by MADE to gain a deeper understanding of how business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-farmer (B2F) partnerships have been enacted among its partner firms. The report summarises the benefits of and barriers to the development and expansion of commercial B2B partnerships, and the benefits and challenges of B2F partnerships. The report details four key recommendations: facilitate the expansion of value chain partnerships; build market linkages; facilitate better access to market services; and foster mechanisation services. These recommendations are intended to support the sustainability and further growth of Northern Ghana’s smallholder business supply chains.
